Applications are Being Accepted for the Position of Mother's Day Out Director

Lead a Christ-centered, safe, enriching, and enjoyable Mother’s Day Out program in a manner that serves families and supports the mission of the church.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

• Provide a safe, enjoyable, and enriching program in a caring Christian setting
• Communicate effectively with participant families
• Publicize the program to the church and community
• Select, train, supervise, and evaluate staff members
• Upkeep of pupil, family, and staff records
• Planning of daily program and special occasion activities

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Preferred higher education in early childhood development or commensurate experience. Appropriate education, training, and experience in early childhood care and education
• Ability to work with others
• A calm and caring demeanor
• A lively Christian faith demonstrated by active participation in a local church

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• At least five years experience in early childhood education, child care
• Completetion of a clean background check
• Valid drivers' license
• First Aid & CPR Training
• Child protection training (provided by the church)

HOURS OF WORK

• Program days are Tuesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. - 1:30 p.m.
• The Director will be present during program time, plus added time for administrative work
• Sixteen (16) hours per week will be the norm
